Neurodiversity Inclusion Network

Neurodiversity

What is Neurodiversity:

Neurodiversity represents the idea that people experience & interact with the world around them in many different ways. There is no one "right" way of behaving, thinking, learning, and behaving, and differences are not viewed as deficits.

In Ireland, we have amazing supporting bodies which produce incredible support to make Ireland Neurodiversity Inclusion Friendly!

Dance and Drama / Virtual Classes

Check out our Eventbrite for ongoing drama classes for Adults, Teens, and Kids and a variety of Dance classes. If you wish to book a drama class for your school organization please contact us here.

Dance and drama classes allow our members to be budding young actors to role-play and practice improvisation and storytelling.  This will be incorporated with singing songs and finding out about rhythm, timing, and how sounds are formed. Our dancing sessions give kids the confidence to try new dance moves.  It is all about imagination, self-expression and growing confidence.

The weekly program will develop around the needs of the students and some will do more than others but we appreciate individual participation and the want to stay in the room is very important to us.  We have noticed a profound improvement in attention and interest as clients overcome their fears and start to express themselves.
Specialist Irish Board of Speech & Drama exams are optional.

Creative Movement

All Abilities Ireland is collaborating with Dyspraxia Ireland to facilitate an OT-inspired dance and movement class for all, including those affected by the challenges of Dyspraxia and their siblings.

If you wish to book a drama class for your school organization please contact us here.

Sessions incorporate social skills activities to improve communication, physical movements to exercise the whole of the body in short memorable dance routines and close off to a gentle meditative routine.
Sessions enable new peer-to-peer relationships, enhanced gross motor skills, and improved mental health of the members.
