EVIDENCE-BASED PROGRAMMES
.b PROGAMME
The .b Program is a four/five-session course for young people that teaches the skills of mindfulness and supports better mental health. It uses eye-catching visuals, video clips, and various engaging activities in order to bring mindfulness to life for young people. Mindfulness is a powerful way to handle stress and live life more fully. Through the mindfulness this programme promotes, a child can remember what is important to them and establish stronger boundaries.
BELONGING PLUS + TRANSITION PROGRAMME
Belonging Plus + Transition Programme is a workshop for anxious students where students are given guidance on social interaction, behaviour and adjustment to a new environment. The transition from primary to post-primary can be a stressful event for many students and their parents, and this can be compounded when the child has special educational needs. There is a need for flexibility in accommodating students in this change, and this programme seeks to provide necessary help and tools to aid them.
