MEET THE SPEAKER

The first day aims to outline what is neurodiversity and the difference between us and our brain function.

We will

chat to students about what is neurodiversity and the variety of ‘conditions’ included in neurodiversity, plus students will take in a short creative exercise which will showcase how different our brains are. The main goal is to sparkle awareness of the differences in our youth.

 'Exploring life and ADHD'

Hi! my name is Lauren McBride. I am a 24 year old psychology undergrad, and I run a mental health advocacy Instagram page called @herthoughtsandbrightcolours.

I host the podcast “Let’s Chat ADHD” with ADHD Ireland and I’m so grateful to be a volunteer for such an amazing cause. Raising awareness about ADHD and also mental health is very important to me, so however I can, I’m there to help create an understanding of neurodivergent life as we know it. I’m also a total people person, and a huge dog lover too! Thanks for getting to know a bit about me!
