Our upcoming programme is designed for parents and children. During the programme, children will participate in sensory camp while parents will learn about various sensory conditions. The programme will provide an educative & fun space designed by All Abilities Ireland and a team of experts, and will equip parents with an understanding of sensory processing differences. The workshop enables parents to understand the emotions behind their child's behaviours and empowers parents with sensory strategies and tools to improve the parent-child relationship. The workshop also works as a social connection for the parents! Children will benefit from hours of messy sensory fun while making friends. At the end of the programme, parents and children will come back together, and parents will put the theory they have learned into practice! Parents will end the day having the tools to create their own sensory plan, and with knowledge of condition-specific activities and demonstrations they can utilise at home. The programme will also include a complementary fun sensory bag and sensory booklet to go home along with everything you've learned!
